Chuck Marino
Over the last ten years, Chuck Marino has been developing a skill set and refining a market strategy for performing a comprehensive Property Condition Assessments for commercial properties and residential inspections for his organization. He has participated in over 500 Property Condition Assessments and well over 1000 residential inspections. His experience in the inspection industry has given him the necessary insight to determine the obstructions and difficulties that limit inspectors. This knowledge has led him to create new techniques and processes to enhance a more effective way to execute and report on various inspections.

During the first 20 years of his career, Chuck worked for Semiconductor, electrical and electronic corporations. He has been employed at the executive level for both domestic and foreign companies. His career has been for both European based companies out of Germany, and Asian based companies out of Japan. A number of companies he has been affiliated with have been Fortune 50+ companies. Tokyo Seimitsu of Japan and Rittal Corporation of Germany are both global leaders in Semiconductor and Electrical Equipment. Chuck participated in many organizations and plant specifications where he helped write electrical standards and/or designed specifications that were based in safety, with a sound past experience and an acceptance of future technology.
  • Established electrical specs for Toyota and Honda, Ohio plants.
  • Wrote policies and procedures for pre ISO 9000 audit
  • Influenced automotive manufacturers to accept IEC over NEMA ratings, resulting in the acceptance of Rittal products.
  • Served on a committee to re-write EX-1, ES-1, automotive electrical standards into an international standard using NFPA-79 as its base document.
  • Participated on the standards committee for the BMW plant, (South Carolina) and wrote electrical standards.
  • Participated in writing electrical standards for the North Star General Motors Engine Project, (Brighton, MI)
  • Participated in writing Greenfield Plant electrical standards for the Michigan Truck Plant, the Mercedes Plant, (Alabama), and the Saturn GM Plant.
Authored several publications/Electrical standards including: Ritten-Heuser Press Automotive Publication, 1996; Selling Strategies, 1994; Ford Engine Specification, 1998; GM L6 Program, 1998; and co-author of SAE HS1738 Electrical Standards, 1995.

Mike has saved his employers millions of dollars, by using value engineering, cost avoidance techniques, and contract management processes, which included critical path management for scheduling and cost controls. Mike has been a Construction Project Manager for more than $200,000,000 of new construction throughout Michigan over 25 years, as well as renovation projects; which include paving, roofing, concrete, and building failure forensics. Mike has provided his technical expertise to Property Managers for various repairs of facilities of over 2 million square feet. He has consistently delivered world-class construction projects, fully commissioned, within budget, and on schedule. Mike's buildings have received various awards from the Architectural and Engineering community, as well as a recent LEED certification for an 1825 car parking deck with a 60,000 square foot sedum planted green roof and a 1/10-mile walking track. He has implemented an 'Arc Blast' labeling program for all high voltage distribution equipment throughout all the facilities statewide for personnel protection. Mike has 28 years of experience with building automation systems, heating ventilating and air conditioning, paving, roofing, plumbing and glazing. Mike also has extensive knowledge of all aspects of construction which include, but are not limited to; soils, concrete, steel, electrical generation and distribution. He has also been responsible for the remediation of contaminants such as mercury, asbestos, mold, and contaminants in soils. Mike is trained in code compliance for MIOSHA, EPA, DNR, NFPA, BOCA, and ADA; and has undergone safety training and has incident investigation knowledge. His Environmental Health and Safety staff is responsible for the safety and welfare of 8000 employees statewide. Mike has authored a manual for construction project management for training of Project Managers. Mike is a life-long learner and continues to update his knowledge base by attending seminars on HVAC, Building Automation Systems, Construction Management, Construction Inspection, Construction Contract Law, Concrete failure analysis, Roofing, Paving, Electrical Distribution Systems, Parking Deck repairs, Structural forensics, and Environmental Codes.

For the last 10 years Mike Logan has worked and developed business plans, initiated specialty services and handled day-to-day activities including sales, finance, accounting, acquisitions and operations in the commercial waste management arena.

Mr. Logan has developed policies and procedures for utilizing the latest technology to lower cost via reduction, reuse or recycling of waste streams.

Mr. Logan has developed a baseline environmental audit directed toward the automotive industry, which identifies waste reduction strategies/practices.

Mr. Logan also has a background in marketing and management; he has generated $40 million in annual business, developed sales budgets to achieve market financial expectations and facilitated sales representative training programs, including Professional Selling Skills (PSS), time and territory management, & negotiation skills and product knowledge.
